How to get Gole dell'Alcantara. 
By Car( 240 Km from Palermo): 
Take the Motorway PALERMO-CATANIA 
When you arrive to Catania follow the indication for Messina. Exit Giardini Naxos. Then follow the indication for Francavilla di Sicilia. Very close by you'll find the entrance to the Parking of Gole dell'Alcantara 
 
 
 
The "Freezing" tour to Gole dell'Alcantara 
 
It's a very nice nd fun trek in the river. The water is...FREEZING!!! Rocks are smouth...If you have a bodyglove and some shoes with a good grip should be better...!!! :o)  The goal is to get the waterfall to the end of the trek but... very slippery rocks and freezing water make the trek....quiet "hard"!!  :o) To rent the boots there is Usless...
