How to get the Ghost Towns.
By Car( 110 Km from Palermo):
Take the motorway from Palermo to Mazzara del Vallo. Exit Gibellina.Then go to Santa Ninfa and from there follow the direction to Gibellina Vecchia and Poggioreale (the big Ghost Town)...and ASK cause Indications are not very clear.
Gibellina Vecchia :
You'll see the Labirynt...The bigest part of the old town of Gibellina was covered with a lot of cement and it became a very big labirynt...really impressive!...
Poggioreale (The real Ghost Towns)...
It's like the day after the big earthquake of January 1968. In the night betwen January 14 and 15/ 1968 a huge earthquake destroyed all the Trapani Area!The time seems to be stopped in this town...everything is like that terrible night...
