The Valley of the Temples at Agrigento in Southern Sicily is an ancient site originally established by the Greeks around 600BC. The temples actually sit on a ridge - it is certainly an atmospheric site with the structures framed against the sky and the Mediterranean Sea.

Great place for: Groups, Couples, Single Travellers, Families and Children. h. 1.50 from Palermo by train - Very Beautiful the Valle dei Templi and on Summers very beautiful beaches often almost desert... Fantastic the Scalinata dei Turchi!!!...15 minutes by car from the Valle dei Templi...Porto Empedocle Direction!
