Very nice Trekking. Lakes, Wood, beautiful panoramas. 120 Km away from Palermo -  

Take the Palermo - Messina Motorway, Exit Santo Stefano di Camastra. Then follow the direction Mistretta.You'll arrive to Mistretta , you'll get the main square then turn right and follow SS 117 then turn left. After about 4.5 Km you'll see a small street on the left (usually there are some signals). Take this small street till the Lake of Urio where you'll leave your car. 

What you are going to see: 

Lago Urio (Urio Lake): At 1.030 mt s.l. Very small a nice lake 

Woods,Wild porks, very nice landscapes, small river. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Nice Trekking day to Nebrodi Mountains 

 

 

This trek is very beautiful and landscapes very differents. You'll pass thru some beautiful woods, you'll see some lakes, goats, cows, wild porks  and hundreds different birds.

In 1993 large areas of the Nebrodi Mountains were made into national parkland. The park covers 856.87 km². 

Walk From Urio Lake: easy - medium -  

Equipement: Trekking boots, jacket - Water - Food -

The Discarica is a place where all the Sicilian PIG People through all the rabbish! :o( We put the Gps Point cause we Hope that our Sicilian Rangers will clean up over there cause it's a really shame (It's in the middle of this beautiful park!) :o(
