This Alternative trekking is very beayriful...in October/November you'll see a lot of Cervi cause of the Love Season,you can also see some Wild Pork and a lot of sheeps, cows, horses, birds...Do it during the day cause you'll pass thru the wood. Difficulty Level: Medium

Who was Argo? Argo was a very nice dog...that used to live over there in the mountains and followed all the people that hiked that side of the mountains...Argo died on May 1967 and its body was put on the mountains....where he lived!...From there he'll continue to take care of all the people that will hike to Pizzo Carbonara.
How to get There:
From Palermo take the motorway Palermo - Catania. Extit Buonfornello. Then Follow COLLESANO. After Collesano follow Piano Zucchi....you'll get the Piano Torre Hotel. 1 Km after on the left you can park your car.

Hundreds years ago people called "Nevaroli" used to go yo thr Madonie Mountains where they took the ice and brought it to the rich people cause at that time the ice was very precious cause nobody could produce it. Now you can also see how you can make the granita as people did hundreds years ago.
